Buy Category A Driving License

Class A licenses permit drivers to drive single vehicles with a GVWR greater than 26,001 pounds, as well trailers and trucks. With the right endorsements, they can also drive certain class B and Comprar carta de condução da categoria C cars.

The driver must have the learner permit for at least six months, and must record 50 hours of training, including 10 nights. For the first six-month period they can carry up to three passengers.

Requirements

Before you can get the Buy category A driving license, there are a few conditions that must be met. First, the applicant must be at minimum 16 years old, and have had a learner's permit for at least six months. They must also have completed an ODOT approved driving course and 50 hours of driving outside of class or 100 practice hours. In addition they must not have criminal convictions involving alcohol or traffic and cannot carry more than one passenger younger than 20 for the first year they hold their license.

The next step is to pass a physical exam. The medical examiner will decide whether a driver is able to operate a vehicle and if they have any limitations. The medical exam must be conducted by a doctor who is certified to conduct the test. The examiner is also required to fill out a form that is provided by the driving authority. The form must be endorsed by a qualified physician and returned to the authority that issued the driving permit.

After passing the medical exam the next step will be passing the road test. The road test is an exam written by a professional and a test that assesses the abilities of the driver. The test is divided into three sections: the multiple choice test; the alternating road test; and a driving portion on the road. The multiple choice test is comprised of questions about road signs, laws and safety regulations. The test that is alternating consists of questions regarding the correct operation of a vehicle and the correct answers have to be selected. The road portion of the road test involves driving on both country and city roads.
